The 43X Glocktober Giveaway is live. From October 1 through October 31, 2026, you can enter to win a custom Glock 43X build featuring the NDZ A.R.E.S. slide and barrel, as well as a trigger kit, micro optic, and light. There’s one build and one winner, and this gun giveaway costs nothing to enter.
No purchase necessary. Open to legal US residents 21 and older. Void where prohibited. See the official rules.
What’s in the build
The prize is a custom build on the Glock 43X, and the official rules put its approximate retail value at $1,500. Here’s the full list, including the pistol:
- Glock 43X pistol
- NDZ A.R.E.S. Slide & Barrel
- Apex Enhanced Trigger Kit
- Steiner Micro Optic
- Holosun PID K Light
About the NDZ A.R.E.S. slide and barrel
- 416R stainless steel slide
- Made in the USA
- Lifetime warranty against manufactured defects
A.R.E.S. stands for Anti-Slip Responsive Enhanced Slide. We CNC machine it from 416R stainless steel, and we also cut aggressive front and rear serrations for a positive grip when you rack it. Its lightening windows cut down reciprocating mass.
The A.R.E.S. barrel is the other half of that system. Its integrated porting lines up with the slide’s lightening windows, and it also has a hand-polished feed ramp and a precision target crown. We designed it exclusively for the A.R.E.S. slide and built the two as a matched system, so it isn’t intended for factory Glock slides or other aftermarket slide designs.
As with every NDZ part, we make the A.R.E.S. in the USA and back it with a lifetime warranty against manufactured defects. As with any slide or barrel swap, though, we recommend having a qualified, trained gunsmith install it. If you’re planning your own slimline build in the meantime, browse our Glock 43 and 43X slides and the rest of our Glock 43 and 43X parts and upgrades, or read our Glock 43X and P365 slide upgrade guide first.
How we finished the Glocktober giveaway build
We sprayed an orange Cerakote base coat, then a darker top coat over it. After that, we distressed the top coat by hand with abrasive pads, so the orange shows through along the edges and serrations.

Who can enter the Glocktober giveaway
No purchase necessary to enter or win, and a purchase does not increase your chances of winning. The giveaway is open to legal residents of the United States who are 21 or older at the time of entry, as long as they are legally eligible to receive and possess the prize under federal, state, and local law where they live. Void where prohibited. Sponsor: New Designz, Inc. (NDZ Performance).
How the prize is delivered
Because the prize includes a handgun, it ships only to a federally licensed firearms dealer (FFL) the winner chooses in their home state. Then the winner completes ATF Form 4473, passes the background check at that dealer, and pays any transfer fee the FFL charges. The winner must respond and complete the transfer within 30 days of notification; otherwise, they forfeit the prize. There’s no cash alternative, and the winner is responsible for all taxes on the prize. Federal law also bars a licensed dealer from transferring a handgun to anyone under 21.
You’ll find the full terms, including eligibility exclusions and prize conditions, in the official rules.
